Vivek Patel

Vivek Patel is the Director of Technology Business Solutions at SHRM. He leads a team of technical architects and solutions developers and is responsible for operationalizing SHRM's digital technology and business intelligence strategy. Vivek is a strong advocate of technology and its ability to bring about transformational change within an organization. Proper selection and integration of technology solutions within business strategy can make sure that an organization succeeds 'because of ' technology and not 'in spite of' it.

Vivek has 12+ years of experience and has been involved in many large scale technology implementations for Fortune 20 organizations over that time. Vivek is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton where he earned his Master's in Computer Engineering.

Belliveau is a Founding Member/Academic Chair and Human Capital Management Advisor with HRPMO - developing and delivering HR Project Management educational content, talent management & as-a-service delivery.  Concurrently, he is Managing Director with AVANCÉ - Human Capital Management Advisors, providing advice and consultation in a variety of HR, human capital management and HRMS practitioner/subject matter expertise as an extension of the client's own business and HR function.  He is also an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University's Organizational Leadership Graduate Program, serves on the advisory boards for NH Dept. of Education (Educational & Vocational Rehabilitation) and SERESC (STEM Across NH), and on the Board of Directors for Manchester Area Human Resources Assn.

Carolyn Broderick, SPHR, SHRM-CP, HRIP is part of the HR Workforce Planning & Analytics team at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York. In her current role, she works on HR process management, and is working on a project for a data warehouse. She is the HR Tableau Administrator, designs Tableau dashboards and uses SQL to merge multiple data sources together for HR Metrics and Analytics.

Broderick recently held the position of Senior Consultant with DeFoe Associates, a consulting firm that implements and optimizes HR technology, where she was responsible for process improvement and data analytics and worked with clients such as Biogen and Daiichi Sankyo.

Previously, Broderick was Manager, Strategic Data at Prudential Financial where she was responsible for database management and data analysis functions, systems implementation, system upgrades, technical consultation, and regulatory reporting. At Prudential, she also held positions in Benefits, Employee Relations, Policy & Process, HR Technology and Staffing, managing staffing and reporting systems.

Broderick is past president of the Jersey Shore Association for HR and is currently the NJ State Membership Director. She was a member of the National SHRM HR Technology Expertise Panel from 2012-2015 and has taught HRCI and SHRM Certification courses for the last five years.

Broderick holds a BA in English from Kean University and an MA in Liberal Studies from Monmouth University in New Jersey.

Lisa Carlton is the Director of Compensation and Benefits/HRIS/Payroll at Stormont-Vail HealthCare, an acute care health system located in Topeka, Kansas.  She has over thirty years of experience in Human Resources management and administration for both profit and non-profit organizations.  Lisa has served as a SHRM Special Expertise panelist and as SHRM State Council Director and Chapter President in the past.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at Friends University and has presented at the several SHRM and other national conferences.

Dorothy Douglass is Vice President of Human Resources & Training at MutualBank.  Douglass began her career with Mutual in 2001 as Human Resources Manager.  She is a graduate of Ball State University and lifelong resident of Muncie, Indiana.

An active member of the community, Douglass has served many local organizations including United Way, East Central Indiana Human Resources Association (ECIHRA) Board of Directors, Alliance for Strategic Growth, Altrusa International of Muncie, Altrusa Foundation Board of Directors, and the YWCA Board of Directors. She is a current member of ECIHRA, the Indiana Banker's Association Human Resources Committee and the BSU Human Resources Advisory Board.

Douglass is married and is an empty-nester, and has recently added another dog to the household menagerie.

Laura M. Fiore

Laura Fiore joined Franklin & Marshall College in 2007, and is currently the Associate Vice President for Human Resources. Laura partners with senior leaders of the College to translate the strategic priorities and business plans of the College into human resources operational plans, driving initiatives including employment, employee relations, compensation, training and development, benefits administration and talent planning.  Among the projects that Laura has spearheaded include leading the College’s Human Resources and Payroll teams through the successful accelerated implementation of Ellucian’s Banner Enterprise Resource Planning solution, expanded use of self service tools by the campus community for benefits and open enrollment, and providing more streamlined, electronic solutions for managers. 
Prior to joining Franklin & Marshall, she performed in a Senior Human Resources Generalist position for RR Donnelley.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton in Marketing/Management and her PHR certification.

As Xcelerate’s Vice President of Human Capital Management, Jason Hite leads a team of dedicated human resources professionals providing a range of services including workforce planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and career development.  In addition to his corporate leadership role, Jason also actively supports several of Xcelerate’s government clients on human capital and organizational change management consulting engagements.  

Over the last 15 years, Jason has served in human capital roles across various industries, including the Federal Government and non-profit, hospitality/tourism, and management consulting organizations.  Prior to joining Xcelerate Solutions, Jason served as Chief Human Resources Officer at the U.S. House of Representatives, under the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).  In August 2016, Jason was selected as a “Workforce Game Changer” by Workforce magazine.  This internationally recognized program, now in its sixth year, acknowledges 25 HR professionals under the age of 40 for their positive impact on the profession.

Jason volunteers with the US National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) as a member of the Workforce Management Working Group. The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE), led by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is a partnership between government, academia, and the private sector focused on cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development.

Jason holds a B.S. in Management from St. Francis University (Loretto, PA), M.S. in Human Resources Management from Edinburgh Napier University (Edinburgh, Scotland), and is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Edinburgh Napier University.  He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources Management (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Jill Hood

Jill Hood is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Summit Group.  In this role, Jill focuses on leveraging corporate strategy to align and accelerate the performance of internal corporate programs, such as corporate health and wellness programs, through both marketing communication and technology product development – blending traditional and non-traditional communication strategies.  She has been with Summit Group for over nine years and has been in the engagement and recognition field for over 15 years.  Throughout her career, Hood has collaborated with HR departments with clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, Lowe's Home Improvement, Schneider Electric, and United Airlines.

Jill is also a certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, a certified SCRUM Master, and a Lean Belt Six Sigma.

Victoria Krotzer, PHR, SHRM-CP, has over 25 years of experience in human resource management.  She received her Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) in 2002 and her SHRM-CP Certification in 2015.  Vicki has served as the Human Resources Director and Assistant Vice President for several medium to large companies in York County with locations across nine states and Canada.  She is currently an independent consultant in human resources with Maximum Business Consulting, LLC in York, Pa.

Krotzer served two terms as the Director of the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).  She has served on the PA SHRM State Council since 2000 and is the former President of the York, PA SHRM Chapter.  She currently serves on the Technology and HR Management Special Expertise Panel and previously served on the Human Relations Expertise Panel for the Society for Human Resource Management in Alexandria, Virginia.  Also, in 2009, Krotzer also served on an Expert Panel for the Pennsylvania Department of Health for training state universities, public schools and industry on Pandemic Preparedness throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Krotzer's vast experience in human resources encompasses training, employee relations, unemployment, workers' compensation, handbook and policy writing, FMLA, Payroll, recruiting, COBRA administration, benefits program design, negotiation and administration.

She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Family First Health, a federally qualified health center, in York, where she has served on the board in various positions over the past nine years.
