Summary:
The Volunteer Co-lead partners with Panel Staff Lead to plan and carry out the agenda of the Panel. In addition, the Co-lead must actively participate as a panel member.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
In partnership with Panel Staff Lead:
- Plan meetings for upcoming year, including topic suggestions, coordination of guest speakers, etc.
- Participate in training for position
- Actively participate and lead panel meetings when necessary
- Leverage social media platform as a form of communication with panel members. Encourage and lead discussions and post relevant information to site. Assist in management of group as directed by Panel Staff Lead.
- Act as back-up for Panel Staff Lead when he/she is not available
- Provide support to Panel
- Represent SHRM as a spokesperson when appropriate
Qualifications:
To perform this volunteer co-lead position successfully, an individual must also be a contributor as a panel member.
- Must meet all requirements as noted in Special Expertise Panel Member responsibilities
- Ability to effectively lead
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
