Panel Staff Lead Position Description



The Panel Staff Co-lead manages all aspects of the assigned special expertise panel.  A volunteer member from the panel is chosen yearly to support and assist as a co-lead.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

In partnership with Volunteer Co-lead:

  • Plan meetings for upcoming year, including topic suggestions, coordination of guest speakers, etc.
  • Participate in training for position
  • Actively participate and lead panel meetings leveraging co-lead to assure meetings are not cancelled due to staffing conflicts
  • Leverage social media platform as a form of communication with panel members.  Encourage and lead discussions and post relevant information to site.  Assist in management of group.  May direct Co-lead to manage this function.
  • Provides support to Panel
