Inclusion is a high priority for many companies, but new research suggests initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion tend to have the opposite effect.
Join Dr. David Rock, Director, NeuroLeadership Institute, as he shares the latest research and industry insights around the diversity & inclusion challenge. Participants will explore why diverse teams are smarter, how inclusion efforts can backfire, and where organizational missteps are common. David will outline a more effective science-based approach to diversity and inclusion, aimed at improving workplace interactions and navigating the pitfalls of unconscious bias. Examine the science behind bias mitigation and learn about a research-driven framework for effectively mitigating bias in real time. If you are a talent leader grappling with your own diversity or inclusion challenges, you don't want to miss this insight-rich discussion.
Dr. David Rock coined the term 'NeuroLeadership' and is the Director of the NeuroLeadership Institute, a global initiative brining neuroscientists and leadership experts together to build a new science for leadership development. With operations in 24 countries, the Institute also helps large organizations operationalize brain research to develop better leaders and managers. David co-edits the NeuroLeadership Journal and heads up an annual global summit. He has written many of the central academic and discussion papers that have defined the NeuroLeadership field.
