The SHRM Research Institute and Gap International recently surveyed 620 senior leaders to better understand how their organizations functioned pre-pandemic to now. In analyzing this data, organizations were categorized into three resilience trajectories: Thrivers, Persisters and Survivors. Those organizations were contrasted with others that were unable to fully demonstrate resilience—by either being in a worse performance state, a worse employee well-being state or both. Organizations on this non-resilience trajectory were categorized as Decliners.
