Product and Event Sponsorship

The SHRM Foundation offers sponsorship opportunities to advance resources, research, and outreach around inclusion challenges. Partnering with the SHRM Foundation is mutually beneficial – the SHRM Foundation receives the support necessary to fund solutions and the sponsor receives partnership benefits and positions itself as a leader in the HR profession.

Sponsorship of SHRM Foundation products and events are available in four areas:

  1. Solutions Series
To build more inclusive organizations, the SHRM Foundation will develop and publish resources to support HR professionals who are engaging and retaining military veterans in the workplace. The SHRM Foundation’s solution series will share evidence– based solutions and current best practices. As a sponsor, your company will gain visibility through advertising within the publication and inclusion in all related promotional activities.

  2. Thought Leaders Solutions Forum
Since 1999, the SHRM Foundation has hosted an annual invite-only event for more than one hundred senior-level HR executives, leading practitioners, and prominent researchers to engage in candid discussions to explore issues shaping the future of the HR profession and implications for research and practice.
The 2017 Thought Leaders Solutions Forum theme will align with the SHRM
Foundation’s new strategy to build inclusive organizations and will focus on the SHRM Foundation’s on-going aging workforce initiative. This year's Forum will be held October 1-2 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

  3. Research
To identify and answer important research questions around challenging inclusion issues, the SHRM Foundation will drive research in a collective partnership with corporations, non-profits and academic researchers. As a research sponsor, you will have the opportunity to help shape the research agenda, participate in the research and acquire first release of research results.
In addition, your organization’s current effective practices may be included in a related solution series resource and have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with the 600+ SHRM volunteer chapter and state councils.

  4. Special Events hosted by the SHRM Foundation
In 2017, the SHRM Foundation will host three special events that will engage HR professionals during SHRM conferences.

    1. 2nd Annual SHRM Foundation Step Challenge

The Step Challenge is a three-day activity that invites the 15,000+ attendees at SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition to set physical goals, track their process, and celebrate their successes.

    2. SHRM Foundation Annual Luncheon

This annual celebration recognizes the work accomplished, honors top supporters, and energizes attendees to support the Foundation's mission and upcoming work. Luncheon attendees include 125 conference attendees and include SHRM and SHRM Foundation board members, Leadership Circle top donors, and volunteer leaders from top fundraising SHRM State Councils and Chapters.

    3. HeadShotLOUNGE
Annually, 1,000 SHRM chapter and state council volunteer leaders gather at the SHRM Volunteer Leaders Summit to network, collaborate, and attend development sessions to strength their chapters and state councils. During the Summit, volunteer leaders are invited to sit for a new professional headshot! As the HeadShotLOUNGE sponsor your company will host the lounge and connect with volunteer leaders during this positive, much appreciated experience.

The SHRM Foundation has a variety of resources and events, and we are able to tailor your sponsorship to meet your marketing needs, target audience, and budget.
