Give50 Scholarship Winner
We are proud to share that the Give50 scholarship winner is Lovelee Morris-Carter, from Richmond, Virginia. Lovelee currently works as an HR Training Specialist and is enrolled at the University of Richmond, seeking a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. She is passionate about creating opportunities for persons with criminal backgrounds who have difficulty finding employment. She knows the roadblocks that exist and wants to change that narrative by showing organizations these individuals have drive, motivation, and skills that can be utilized by the work force.
In addition, thanks to the generous donations from our annual luncheon guests and a special matching gift from Globoforce, we were able to offer the two finalists, Alana and Ryan, each $5,000 scholarships to help them further their education.
