Counting Down to #SHRM19

We can't wait to welcome you to the SHRM 2019 Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas! SHRM has launched new learning opportunities and conference experiences to bring our theme of "Creating Better Workplaces" to life. Read below to learn about these new offerings and how to get the most out of #SHRM19.

Conference Program

With over 200 sessions to choose from, the program is full of critical topics to inform, inspire and help you transform the workplace. A new series to check out this year: Change-Makers. These leaders, from Zappos, Airbnb, Universal Music Group and other influential businesses, will share bold ideas to keep you ahead of the curve.

Create Personal Connections at Work: A Q&A with Dan Schawbel

New York Times best-selling author Dan Schawbel wants to help professionals reclaim their humanity and build deeper relationships. His Q&A explores how employers can help workers do that. And at his #SHRM19 mega session, you'll learn about the biggest workplace trends for 2019 that will have an impact on HR departments, as informed by research, insights and case studies.

Learn to Elevate Your Voice and Engage with Policymakers on Workplace Issues

SHRM members impact the lives of over 115 million people each day at work. Wielding that influence, they are best suited to be a valuable resource and advocate--not just to SHRM or to our work, but also to policymakers for developing policies that create better workplaces and a better world.

At this session, you will hear directly from policy leaders about commonsense solutions to critical workplace issues and what they need to learn from you to make real change.

Explore Curiosity with Dr. Diane Hamilton

In this All Things Work podcast, SHRM's Tony Lee is joined by Dr. Diane Hamilton, a nationally syndicated radio host, speaker and author whose work in the area of curiosity has garnered wide attention. They discuss how she became interested in studying curiosity, closing the curiosity gap between the C-suite and employees and what she'll be covering during her mega session on June 25 at 3:30 p.m. at the SHRM 2019 Annual Conference and Exposition.
