SHRM’s 2015 Strategic Benefits Survey collected data on how organizations leverage benefits to recruit employees, including employees at all levels of the organization and highly skilled employees.
This research found that about two-fifths (38%) of HR professionals indicated their organizations had difficulty recruiting employees at all levels of the organization in the past 12 months, a statistically significant increase from 2013 (26%) and 2012 (23%); more than one-half (55%) indicated the same for recruiting highly skilled employees.
About two-fifths of respondents also indicated that in the past 12 months, their organizations leveraged their benefits program to recruit employees at all levels of the organization (38%), a statistically significant increase from 2013 (26%) and 2012 (29%), and highly skilled employees (40%), a statistically significant increase from 2013 (30%).
