Daniel Stunes, SHRM-SCP is the Manager of Research Operations with SHRM Research. During his tenure on the team, he has led various research projects including those on Paid Leave; Immigration; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; workplace impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic; Empathy; Alternative Credentials; and benchmarking studies for Human Capital, Talent Access, and Employee Benefits

Daniel joined SHRM from Walmart where he worked as part of multiple HR centers of expertise including Surveys, Selection & Assessments, and Performance Management. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Drake University, a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Fort Hays State University, and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa.
