Kerri Nelson, Ph.D., is Director of Policy and Partnership Research at SHRM. She is responsible for leading strategic workplace and workforce research that provides executives, HR leaders, and policy makers with data-driven insights and evidence-based solutions for driving effective workplaces and improving the employee experience. She has led key research initiatives on workforce development, workplace equity, and workplace culture and has expertise in organizational effectiveness, survey design, survey research, and advanced data analytics. She received her doctorate in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Her work has been featured in top news outlets, on podcasts and webinars, and on the Hill.
