Ragan Decker, Ph.D., SHRM-CP, is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist and Lead Researcher at SHRM. She is responsible for designing and conducting strategic research to support SHRM’s mission as it relates to work, workers, and the workplace. Ragan leads research efforts for SHRM’s Executive Network and partners with both public and private organizations to produce research. Ragan has led research on a variety of topics including financial wellness benefits, people analytics and the “Great Resignation.” Dr. Decker holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and Graduate Certificates in Quantitative Research Methods and Occupational Health Psychology. She has published works in peer-reviewed journals such as Occupational Health Science, Employee Responsibilities and Rights Journal, Journal of Cancer Survivorship, Annals of Work Exposure and Health, and Archives of Environmental and Occupational Health.
