Twice a year, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM®) collaborates with Globoforce® on a survey that focuses on employee recognition programs. The spring 2013 survey examines the impact of recognition on employee engagement, satisfaction and employee performance reviews. The findings confirm that positive feedback and praise have an impact on employee’s performance. When that feedback is coupled with a reward, performance is driven even further.
