This presentation is part 2 of 3 in a series of SHRM survey findings about the state of jobs and skills in the California. California and U.S. overall results are compared, and statistically significant differences are indicated in separate slides in the report.More than one out of two (52%) organizations in California reported difficulty recruiting for full-time regular positions over the past year. About one-half of those organizations cited lack of the right technical skills (54%), lack of work experience (52%), or competition from other employers (50%) as a primary reason for difficulty in hiring qualified candidates.
