Part three of the Older Workers Survey findings provides an overview of the top advantages of older workers, including their strongest basic and applied skills, and steps taken to prepare for potential skills gaps resulting from the loss of older workers.
This research found that the top three advantages of older workers, compared with other workers, are more work experience (77%), higher level of maturity/professionalism (71%) and stronger work ethic (70%). The most common step taken to prepare for potential skills gaps was increasing training and/or cross-training efforts (42%).
