As part of the ongoing Workers with Criminal Backgrounds research, and alongside SHRM's Getting Talent Back to Work initiative, a microsurvey was conducted to explore the perceptions of Americans towards organizations that are known to employ those with criminal records.
The survey asked Americans questions that measured their feelings about businesses they bought goods or services from that hire those with criminal backgrounds. It also asked how Americans felt about the potential of working at the same employer as those with criminal records.
