Silicon Valley Executive HR Delegation Program

October 30 - November 3, 2017

As part of SHRM’s mission to advance the profession and serve the HR professional, our Executive HR Delegation programs provide participants with unique opportunities to establish relationships and business connections with thought leaders in successful companies in a variety of industries. The facilitators and delegates share cutting-edge best practices that will shape our profession and the business world.

Why join this program?

  • Exposure to companies headquartered in Silicon Valley that use innovative, forward-thinking HR and business practices.
  • Representatives from these industry leaders will provide distinctive perspectives on their companies’ successes in creating innovative cultures and will share their companies’ business models, organizational structures, and HR practices and strategies—including how they are aligned to the SHRM Competency Model.
  • Topics will include talent management, engagement, total rewards, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, workforce management, employee relations, HR in a global context, corporate social responsibility, and HR in business strategy.
  • Company visits that expose participants to the business and work environment of each organization through meetings with senior and mid-level HR professionals and business leaders. Company representatives will deliver presentations, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and to tour each facility.
  • Pre- and post-presentation discussions that align with the presentations, facilitated by Todd Brodie, PhD., SHRM-SCP, will provide participants a richer experience. This unique and rewarding educational experience will enable you to build an individualized plan to implement in your own organization—one that fits with your line of business, organizational strategy and budget.
