Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting is complex -- especially when accounting for changes to this year’s filing requirements and the uncertainty of a new presidential administration. Though ACA regulations may face future modifications, you still need to be ready for reporting in 2016 and 2017.

About the Presenters: John Kreger is a senior product manager at Sovos Compliance. He has led the development of several complex projects culminating in the release of Sovos's flagship ACA reporting solution, Taxport ACA. Kreger is entering his fourth tax season with Sovos, rounding out seven years of progressive experience in the software industry where he’s held roles as a software developer, solution engineer and information systems manager.

Ray Littlefield leads the Sovos Compliance Enterprise and Corporate Account teams focused on helping organizations leverage technology to improve their ACA compliance. With a singular focus on the ACA, Littlefield and his team have helped over 1,000 organizations of all sizes effectively implement technologies to improve their compliance requirements, reporting obligations, and operational efficiency.

Gerry Nelligan is a junior tax counsel working in the Tax Compliance group at Sovos Compliance. He is a licensed attorney in the state of Massachusetts who has spent his legal career specializing in information reporting requirements at the state, federal and international levels. At Sovos, Nelligan has led research on state and federal reporting issues and has spoken on State Reporting best practices. More recently, he has focused much of his research on the Affordable Care Act regulations under IRC 6055 and 6056.
