About the Presenters: Michael Johnson is the CEO of Johnson Talent Development, a coaching firm focused on the development of Next Generation Leaders. Johnson is an Advisory Board member and guest presenter at the Center for Effective Organizations at USC’s Marshall School of Business and an executive-in-residence at Executive Networks. He is involved in the White House’s Upskilling Initiative and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Council of La Raza and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Johnson also worked for more than 35 years at UPS, where he retired as the company's CHRO. In that capacity, he was integrally involved in defining, influencing and operationalizing global Talent & Leadership strategies aligned to UPS’s business strategies.
Scott Mondore, Ph.D., is co-founder and managing partner of Strategic Management Decisions (SMD). He has over 15 years of experience in the areas of strategy, talent management, measurement, customer experience, and organizational development. Before starting SMD, he was east region president for Morehead Associates, a corporate strategy director at Maersk, and an organizational effectiveness leader at UPS. He is the co-author of Investing in What Matters: Linking Employees to Business Outcomes (SHRM, 2009) and Business-Focused HR: 11 Processes to Drive Results (SHRM, 2011).
