Employers began forming employee resource groups (ERGs) in many cases to help female and minority workers gain insight from each other based on their shared workplace experiences. While ERGs can boost an organization's diversity and inclusion effort, they can do more than that -- including help an organization identify future leaders, target gaps in skills and talent, and boost employee engagement. In this program, author and consultant Shirley Davis will be joined by Andrea Hendricks of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Together they will review how these groups can help your organization and how you can help foster and grow them. You'll learn about the tangible benefits of providing a platform for ERGs and how to make the case for creating them to senior management.
