Presenters: Rusty Lindquist, BambooHR; and Michelle Reed, SkillSurvey
May 2016 (available for on-demand viewing through September 2016)
Program length: 60 minutes
Increasingly, the soft skills inside your organization are becoming the primary drivers of success. Why is this happening? What are the top soft skills? How do you measure soft skills in candidates? In employees? How do we train and develop those soft skills? How do you know which soft skills your organization needs? These questions are just a few of the many that today’s HR departments are struggling to figure out. In this program, Rusty Lindquist from Bamboo HR and SkillSurvey's Michelle Reed will lead a deep dive into soft skills identification and development. They will answer the 20 most common (and critical) questions about soft skills in the workplace and give you a chance to ask your own.
About the Presenters: Rusty Lindquist is the vice president of Strategic HR Insights at BambooHR. In that capacity, he studies the intersection of organizational behavior, talent management, and HR strategy, all within the dynamics of small to medium-sized businesses. Prior to joining the BambooHR team, he spent three years leading product innovation in the learning and development industry, and 15 years running product in SAAS companies.
Michelle Reed is the chief marketing officer at SkillSurvey. In this role, she collaborates with customers, partners and industry experts to help strategically impact critical points in the talent lifecycle. A results-oriented, hands-on marketing and communications executive with over two decades of experience working in the technology sector, she has also held roles in software development, communications, college recruiting and human resources.
