Financial stress is sometimes caused by a crisis, but more often than not, it’s triggered by regular events throughout our lives: moving out on our own, buying a home, getting married, having a child, getting divorced, sending kids to college, retirement, death of a spouse … the list goes on. This stress is evident throughout our workplace, via increased absenteeism, an inability to focus on work, decreased productivity, a negative impact on employee health and decreased engagement. In this program, you'll learn how to identify signs of financial stress within your employees and build a plan to help them get back on track toward financial wellness.

At the end of this session attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize signs of financial stress among their workforce.
  • Understand the most common triggers of financial stress amongst different generations.
  • Provide appropriate resources and tools to individuals suffering from financial stress.
  • Begin to build a low- or no-cost financial wellness program within their organization, with the goal of increasing employee productivity and engagement.
