As employers develop robust training and development programs, creating interactive e-learning becomes critical to the success of these initiatives. In this program, Melissa Loble of Instructure discusses how to build an interactive strategy for e-learning, including the use of story- and scenario-based options. From there, she will explore various opportunities for incorporating gamification, social learning, and credentialing into your e-learning strategy. The session will also offer predictions about the further incorporation of interactivity into e-learning.

About the Presenter: Melissa Loble is vice president of Platform and Partnerships for Instructure. And who better to service in this capacity than a competitive ballroom dancer? She leads the company in waltzing its way toward a more open, connected learning ecosystem. In addition to leading platform product strategy, she also oversees partner programs for Canvas and Bridge. Instructure has over 200 partners, including technology powerhouses like Amazon and Microsoft, and Loble helps the company's clients build robust and innovative learning environments.

Previously, Loble was associate dean for distance learning at the University of California, Irvine, where she provided leadership in curriculum development, instructional design, and educational platforms and technologies. She has held senior leadership roles for a number of edtech companies and has taught in Pepperdine University’s Masters in Learning Technologies program as well as in the eLearning Design Certificate program for the University of California, Irvine, for the past 15 years.
