  • Designing the process: Lay out how your program works to suit your organization’s needs.
  • Implementing the program: Plan how to roll it out to your organization.
All of this is only possible through conversations and feedback from managers, peers and others in the organization. Managers play a key role by having regular check-ins to discuss needs, expectations and barriers to progress. These conversations give the employee the chance to better understand his or her role within the big picture of what the organization is working to do and how the role contributes to achieving those goals. Having a two-way exchange of information builds trust, connection and acceptance, making it possible for managers to have better relationships with the people they’re leading. And when people feel valued for their contribution, they’ll be more engaged and productive.

Learn about our speaker About the Presenters: Jennifer Haineault is a talent management specialist at Saba-Halogen Software. She has more than 10 years of experience within the professional services field, helping organizations to select, develop, manage and retain their top talent. Haineault has been with Halogen for three years, having worked with over 100 unique clients from a variety of industries, to generate and execute a launch plan, ensuring the success of implementing Halogen’s suite of products. She specializes in areas related to employee engagement, talent recruitment, management and development, and workforce planning.

Rachel O'Neil is a senior consultant with the Business Consulting Team at Saba. Her experience in HR spans over 12 years as a generalist and manager specializing in performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning and employee engagement. Over her career, O'Neil has gained practical experience building HR programs that address business requirements and challenges. With Saba-Halogen, her goal is to help customers develop their strategic talent management practices and maximize return on their investment in the Saba-Halogen solution.
