For most employers, pay and benefit costs continue to rise. But some companies are adopting a new approach that can significantly reduce -- or in some cases eliminate -- benefits costs, while at the same time increasing take-home pay. A health care rewards pay program provides employees a direct health insurance subsidy and allows them to select their own coverage or use their health care reward funds as they deem appropriate. In this presentation, you'll hear how to implement and communicate such a program while ensuring your company remains in compliance with the Affordable Care Act. You'll also learn how this new benefits strategy can help you comply with the salary thresholds specified by the DOL's new FLSA overtime regulation without increasing company’s cost.

Before starting his company, Epps was a senior rates design and economics analyst and corporatec compensation manager for El Paso Energy Corp.
