It’s official: The U.S. Department of Labor FLSA changes will extend overtime pay protections to more than 4 million American workers. The implications are enormous, affecting everything from job classifications and time tracking to compensation and compliance policies. About the Presenters: Patrick Bannon is a partner in the Labor & Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP's Boston office. In state and federal court, in arbitration, and before state and federal agencies, Bannon represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour collective and class actions, noncompetition and trade secret disputes, and complex discrimination claims. A regular speaker regarding employment law, Bannon is former vice chair of the Labor & Employment Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association and has served as a volunteer mediator for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. His articles regarding employment law have appeared in The Boston Globe, New England In-House, Compensation & Benefits Review and Mass High Tech. Bannon is recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer for 2004-2012 and has been listed in Chambers USA "Leaders in their Field" since 2012.

Lynne Levy is a product strategist for Kronos. She has a background in both product management and product marketing in enterprise software organizations. Levy’s focus includes both employee engagement and compliance. Lynne is a product evangelist to the market and to customers on how workforce management tools can help with both of these critical business issues. She has a mix of both marketing and technology skills and can effectively communicate with HR, operations and IT.
