Learn about our speaker About the Presenters: David Batman, MD, has been a registered medical practitioner for 47 years and a consultant in occupational medicine for 30 years. He also spent 20 years as the head of occupational health, safety and employee well being for Nestle in the UK and Ireland, and has special interests in mental health at work, risk assessments, rehabilitation and resettlement of employees. Batman specializes in advising on lifestyle preventative approaches to medicine, developing resilience and management of mental health issues. He previously served as chief medical officer for the Global Corporate Challenge and is now a member of Virgin Pulse's Science Advisory Board.

Gary Smithson, MD, is a health care executive with over 30 years of business and clinical experience as a health care consultant and board-certified pediatrician. Currently, Smithson the medical director and member of the Science Advisory Board at well-being company Virgin Pulse and prior was chief medical officer at RedBrick Health. Smithson posseses in-depth experience in wellness, disease management, cost and quality transparency, telemedicine and provider organizations such as including onsite/near-site health services, accountable care organizations and patient-centered medical homes.
