Benefits are the top driver of employee engagement, according to a recent study. However, due to rising health care costs and new regulations, it’s more difficult than ever to offer great employee benefits that work for your bottom line. As they search for the right solution, many companies are exploring new benefits models: self-funded, level-funded, defined contributions, private exchanges and more.

In this presentation, Rob LaHayne, Namely’s VP of Employee Benefits, will help you understand the various new models for employee benefits and how to determine which one fits your company best. He’ll be joined by Asha Mungara, HR and compliance director at Tolunay-Wong Engineers, who will share her experience implementing self-funded employee benefits this year.

About the Presenters: Rob LaHayne is Vice President of Employee Benefits at Namely, where he's combining advantaged benefits products, expert service, and modern technology to create a better benefits experience for midsize companies. LaHayne has extensive experience in the employee benefits industry, both on the broker side and on the carrier side of the business. Prior to Namely, he spent time at Unum, SunLife and Employee Family Protection Inc.

Asha Mungara is the HR and compliance director at Tolunay-Wong Engineers, a civil engineering firm based in Houston. An attorney and HR professional, Mungara also serves as a negotiation and mediation coach at the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution.
