About the Presenters: Laura Hamill, Ph.D., leads the people (HR) team at Limeade. In this role, she nurtures the Limeade culture of improvement, develops groundbreaking people practices and architects employee engagement strategies for Limeade. Prior to joining the Limeade team, Hamill owned Paris Phoenix Group, an organizational research and assessment consulting firm, focused on improving employee engagement, culture alignment and creating evidence-based talent management systems. She also worked at Microsoft as the director of people research.

B.J. Shannon is the head of customer happiness at TINYpulse, an anonymous feedback tool that companies can use to gauge how happy, frustrated and burnt out their employees are before retention sinks and issues grow. After spending 10 years at an online marketing agency he co-founded, Shannon decided that he wanted to switch directions and spend his days helping employees be happier and engaged in the workplace. At TINYpulse, he manages outreach and customer happiness, enabling him to see first-hand the enormously positive effects of giving a voice to employees at companies across the globe.
