In the first year of ACA reporting, nearly 80 percent of all filers had issues that required corrections. With each correction could come a costly penalty. If you think you had it all figured out in 2015, odds are (like most) you didn’t. With transmittal, form and business rule changes on the horizon, it is critical for those who managed to avoid penalties in 2015 to resist the urge to turn on autopilot in 2016.

In this presentation, Sovos experts Jeff Cronin, Ray Littlefield and Gerry Nelligan share lessons learned from the first season of ACA reporting, key compliance changes related to the reporting and how you can best prepare for a successful ACA reporting season. We’ll also discuss the most common causes of potential penalties and how you can avoid them for the 2016 tax year.

Program attendees will receive a 10 Point Season Readiness Checklist as well as a promo code for a 10 percent discount on 2016 filing services.
