Heather Barker, SHRM-CP
Director, Human Resources, TGS

Heather Barker is a Human Resources Professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in mid-size to large organizations providing guidance and leadership to senior managers in startup and established organizations. Her broad experience includes change management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, leadership, compensation, HR technology and learning & development.  Her career experience spans in various industries including oil & gas, financial, logistics, pharmaceutical research and food services.

Heather is currently the Director of Human Resources for TGS, a global organization that provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas exploration and production companies worldwide. In her role she supports a fast-paced organization, linking people strategies to business strategies and is responsible for leading and implementing company wide web based performance review system, creating and delivering learning & developing strategies to senior leaders.

Prior to joining TGS, Heather held human resources leadership positions for NEXT Financial Group, Noble Logistics Inc. and Sysco Corporation. Heather earned her Master’s in Business Administration from University of Houston and is a national member of the Society of Human Resource Management, World at Work and CEB. She is certified as a SHRM-CP.


Jeremy Eskenazi, SHRM-SCP
Managing Principal, Riviera Advisors, Inc.

Jeremy is Managing Principal of Riviera Advisors, Inc., a global Human Resources management consulting firm that helps organizations improve and enhance their internal talent acquisition and staffing capabilities. For almost two decades, Jeremy and his team have partnered with organizational Talent and HR leaders to create strategies and tactics to make their recruiting, staffing, and talent acquisition processes, systems, and organizations more effective to achieve business results.

Prior to founding Riviera Advisors in 2001, Jeremy spent almost 20 years leading talent acquisition and staffing teams at Universal Studios, Amazon.com, and Idealab. In addition to SHRM, Jeremy is a professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and the Institute of Management Consultants-USA. Jeremy served two terms on the SHRM Staffing Management special expertise panel in the 1990’s and on the recent Workforce Planning Standards Workgroup. Jeremy is certified as an SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, and as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consultants.

A highly-sought-out speaker on the value of the corporate staffing function, Jeremy speaks to many audiences at conference, seminars, and organizational meetings. Jeremy is the author of the book, “RecruitCONSULT! Leadership – The Corporate Talent Acquisition Leader’s Field Book”, (STARoundtable Press, 2011 and second edition, 2018). Jeremy is based in Long Beach, CA.


Paula Harvey, SHRM-SCP
VP of Human Resources & Safety, Schulte Building Systems

Paula H. Harvey, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR is the VP of Human Resources & Safety for Schulte Building Systems in Hockley, TX. She has worked in the retail, services, construction and manufacturing industries. Mrs. Harvey has over 30 years’ experience in Human Resources. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in International Marketing and Operations Management from the University of Texas at Austin. She has also earned her MBA with a concentration in HR Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She is a Senior Global Certified Professional of Human Resources through SHRM. She is an authorized OSHA 501 trainer and has achieved the Manager of Environmental Safety and Health Programs (MESH) certificate and the Advanced Safety Certification (ASC) from the National Safety Council.

Paula teaches several business and leadership related topics especially to HR professionals. She is also an internationally recognized speaker on global and strategic business issues. She has published or been quoted in several articles on HR topics and co-authored three books with other HR professionals.
She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) currently serving on the board of the SHRM Foundation and on the SHRM Talent Acquisition Panel. She has also served as the SE Membership Advisory Council Representative (MAC), NCSHRM President and President of Union County HR Association and Charlotte Area SHRM. She is a past recipient of NCSHRM HR Professional of the Year and NCSHRM HR Humanitarian of the Year.


Melissa Hennigan, SHRM-CP
VP People, Symplicity Corporation

Mel Hennigan, SHRM-SCP, is a human resources leader that is helping organizations achieve business outcomes by connecting the values and objectives of the organization with the strengths and motivators of its people. She is specialized in rapid-growth technology companies and is currently the head of HR for Symplicity Corporation in the greater Washington DC area. Mel’s career’s focus is bringing countries and cultures together to achieve purposeful objectives, and her work background includes companies in the private and public sectors, and spans government, education and technology industries for companies that range in size from start-up to multi-national. Mel is a participating member, volunteer and panelist for multiple professional organizations including the Society for Human Resources Management , Association for Talent Development and Women In Technology.


Ashley Inman, SHRM-SCP
Human Resources Manager, HNTB
 
Ashley Inman is a Korn Ferry certified SHRM-SCP with 15 years HR experience in program management, talent development, workforce planning, diversity and global mobility. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University, in Provo Utah, and a Master’s degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology. Ashley is currently the HR Manager for HNTB’s Gulf Coast and Texas division, a 105 year old employee-owned infrastructure solutions firm. Previously, she worked for a multinational infrastructure company, Fortune 500 construction services division, a professional sports league and the University of California.
 
A highlight in her career was being recognized as a 40 under 40, from the Volusia / Flagler Business Report. Ashley has served on multiple University Employer Advisory Boards, the San Francisco Mayor’s Committee for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities and as a Conference Moderator for Florida’s Association of Colleges and Employers. In 2017, Ashley participated on the Texas Diversity Council’s Veteran Summit speaker panel.


Steven Lindner, Ph.D.
Chief Development Officer, The London Day School
Senior HR and Education Executive, The WorkPlace Group

Dr. Steven Lindner is a Senior HR Executive and Partner with The WorkPlace Group, a talent acquisition and development consulting firm. He also is the Chief Development & Financial Officer of The London Day School, one of the most innovative education academies in the country.  

Dr. Lindner’s work in human resources (HR), talent acquisition & development, extends across 44 different countries with Fortune 500, multinational and mid-cap companies. He has appeared multiple times on ABC and CBS Radio and has over 85 HR industry & business publications in AP, CNBC, Fast Company, Forbes, Fox Business, HR Executive, Inc. Magazine, Money Magazine, NPR, SHRM, The Street, Workforce Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Univision & USA Today. Dr. Lindner holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology.  


Jameel Rush, PHR, SHRM-CP
Associate Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Early Talent Development, Aramark

Jameel is the AVP of Diversity, Inclusion, and Early Talent Development at Aramark. In this role Jameel serves as the Chief Diversity Officer, leading all inclusion and diversity initiatives for Aramark’s 270,000+ associates and leads their campus hire programs. Jameel has over 12 years of global talent management and human resources experience having previously held roles in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, change management, and several HR business partner roles.
 
Jameel has his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Development from St. Joseph’s University and is a graduate from Temple University with a Bachelor in Business Administration focusing on Human Resource Management and Management Information Systems. He has obtained Human Resource certifications from Villanova University, his Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute, and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Jameel serves on the board for several non-profits including the Philadelphia Society for Human Resource Management, People for People Inc., the Graduate Advisory Board for Peirce College, and Research for Action.

Jameel has been recognized numerous times for his work in the Philadelphia and HR community including being nominated as an HR Rising Star of the Year in 2012 by the Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Awards, receiving the HR Rising Star Award from Temple University in 2015, being named as one of Philadelphia’s Top 55 Connectors and Keepers by Leadership Philadelphia, and being placed on Philadelphia’s Top Professionals under 40 list by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2016. Jameel also serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University and Villanova University and participates in Temple’s HR Roundtable which uses local professionals to help guide the curriculum of their Human Resources Program.

Dan Ryan, SHRM-SCP
Principal, Ryan Search & Consulting

Dan partners with organizations to help them Evolve, Develop, Grow & Transition.

Dan leads a group that aids organizations in identifying, acquiring and developing talent while also helping businesses in planning their transition strategy. He leads this work through the organizations Ryan Search, Vistage and Navix. Dan and his team enjoy working with business leaders as they develop and implement their strategy for growth and transition.

Dan has earned a M.Ed. from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, a MBA from Tennessee State University, and a BS in Engineering Physics from Murray State University. He has been an adjunct faculty member for Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and has also taught for Belmont University.

Dan is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and he also has earned the SCP designation with the Society for Human Resource Management. He is also a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and works with the ACE Mentor program to provide opportunities for high school students to gain insight and scholarships toward careers in the architecture, engineering and construction world.

Dan has been married to Gena for over 37 years and has two married adult sons and one grandson. He has a passion for college sports and is an avid supporter of Vanderbilt Baseball and Golf.


Jeremy Tolley, SHRM-SCP
Chief People Officer, CareHere, LLC

Jeremy T. Tolley is an experienced talent executive with a knack for building and supporting organizations during rapid expansion. As Chief People Officer for CareHere, a national leader in onsite, employer-sponsored healthcare, Jeremy leads talent acquisition, human resources, training and organizational development for a widely distributed workforce. Prior to CareHere, Jeremy had a 14-year tenure with a successful, fast-growth hospitality company where he served as head of talent, helping that company grow from 300 to over 9,000 employees. 

Jeremy is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and has a bachelor’s degree in organizational development from the University of Memphis. He is passionate about company culture, talent management, productivity, and communications. 


David S. Twitchell, SHRM-SCP
Vice President Human Resources, Catholic Charities New Hampshire

David is a 35+ year HR professional and is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for Catholic Charities NH.  One of New Hampshire’s largest non-profits with almost 1000 employees scattered throughout the state providing social service programs to those in need, the disenfranchised and the most vulnerable along with eight nursing homes where they provide skilled nursing services to some of New Hampshire’s oldest citizens. 

David is a SHRM certified professional having attained his SHRM-SCP.  Additionally, he has been a long-term volunteer for SHRM having served in varied chapter and state council positions, has been a past Chapter President, a State Director and a Northeast Regional MAC Representative. Over the last several years he has served on several special expertise panels, Total Rewards, HR Disciplines, Ethics and most recently on the Advisory Panel.  Currently he is a SHRM Certification instructor as well as one of the instructors for the SHRM Foundations of Compensation program.
