A new HR standard provides guidance to organizations on creating and maintaining performance management systems that help organizations build, redesign, update or evaluate their performance management process. In the current economic environment -- with a strong need to maximize employee performance and productivity and bring new capabilities into the workplace -- performance management is critical to success. Many organizations go years without assessing their performance management system or making changes to make it more effective. This webcast will describe the newly developed standard. More importantly, the program will describe how you can apply the standard to assess your system, measure how well it is delivering on your organizational goals and provide a framework for enhancing your performance management approach.

About the presenter: Cheryl Wyrick, Ph.D. SPHR, is associate dean of the College of Business Administration and professor of management and human resources at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she teaches human resources and HR information systems.
