Now elected president, Donald Trump has promised a busy first 100 days, as reflected in the following proposals.
Repeal of Affordable Care Act
President-Elect Donald Trump has called for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act within the first 100 days of his presidency. He has called the law "an absolute disaster for families and small businesses."
Executive Actions and Rules
Trump would cancel every "unconstitutional executive action" enacted by President Barack Obama, including those governing immigration enforcement. And he is expected to work on reversing the overtime rule.

Trump also has promised to start completely renegotiating the North American Free Trade Agreement early in his presidency, an agreement that he has called "one of the worst deals our country has ever made."
Supreme Court Nominee
A Supreme Court nominee "in the mold of Scalia" is who Trump has in mind to fill Justice Antonin Scalia's seat on the Supreme Court.
Paid Maternity Leave
On Sept. 13, Trump released a plan to enhance unemployment insurance to include six weeks of paid maternity leave for new mothers after childbirth. The plan would not provide paid paternity leave, nor would it apply to parents who adopt. Parents also would be able to enroll in tax-free dependent care savings accounts for their children or elderly relatives. However, he has not highlighted these actions as part of his first 100 days.
