Obtaining Workplace Posters

For purchase: SHRM's Labor Law Poster Update Service keeps you compliant with federal, state, local and wage order changes all year long.  Additionally, you'll save the time, paper, and printer toner you would have needed to print them yourself. All posters:

** are laminated front and back for durability and protection from being altered or defaced
** have tabbed formatting which makes information easy to find and read
** have posting revision dates highlighted for simple identification
** feature QR Code to verify poster compliance status with a quick scan

For purchase: SHRM's Electronic Labor Law Poster Service Save time and reach all your employees by posting notices on your company intranet or sending notices via email.

No charge:     State DOL offices provide state posters at no charge. U.S. DOL provides federal employment law posters at no charge. Employers must generally order or print posters individually.

General Resources
To determine which federal posters are required, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has an elaws Poster Advisor and the Workplace Posters page. The poster advisor assists employers in determining which federal employment law posters apply to their organization.

For state poster requirements, you can use SHRM's Multi-state Law Comparison Tool to build a chart that features only the state posting requirements that are relevant to you. And most state departments of labor websites provide a list of state employment poster requirements.

Employers can generally download posters from the state and federal websites, or they may choose to order laminated all-in-one-type posters from a reputable poster vendor, such as the SHRM Store.
