Bridging of SHRM Certification to IHRP Certification

Overview

On 7 August 2019, the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) signed a mutual recognition agreement.

The IHRP-SHRM agreement will enable certified professionals to achieve reciprocal recognition from both organizations through mutual recognition.

IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP - CP)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 5 years HR experience or 2 years HR experience with a relevant undergraduate degree AND
  • Mid level HR practitioners

Application Requirements:

  • Pre-Assessment Discussion
  • Paper A (Labour Policies and Legislation)
  • Employer Testimonial
Singapore Citizen/PR = SGD$150

Non-SG = SGD$900

SHRM-SCP IHRP Senior Professional (IHRP - SP)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • At least 10 years of HR work experience
  • Leads a HR department or a HR Center of Excellence (CoE) or HR Shared Services team

Application Requirements:

  • Pre-Assessment Discussion
  • Paper A (Labour Policies and Legislation)
  • Employer Testimonial
Singapore Citizen/PR = SGD$240

Non-SG = SGD$1,435

 

By Invitation only IHRP Master Professional (IHRP - MP)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • C-suite level HR leader
  • Recognised contributions back to HR community
  • By invitation only

Application Requirements:

  • Reference Testimonials from CEO and Senior Level HR industry peer
  • Professional Dialogue
Singapore Citizen/PR = Waived

Non-SG = SGD$2,650

 


Note:

  1. These fees include prevailing fees which IHRP may charge but excludes recertification fees where applicable.

  2. SHRM candidates applying for IHRP Certification through this Agreement must have a current and valid SHRM Certification and Global Internet Membership.
