Jyoti Chopra was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2025 with responsibility for all aspects of Hertz's people strategy.
Chopra brings over two decades of global leadership experience in human resources, corporate responsibility, and transformation across industries. Prior to joining Hertz, Chopra served as Chief People Officer and Head of Corporate Responsibility at MGM Resorts International, where she led all HR functions for 62,000 employees, overseeing all the components of the company's people strategy including the company's work on corporate culture and employee experience. She also spearheaded the company's HR digital transformation, including Al-driven career development and self-service tools. Her previous roles include SVP, Global HR Strategy, Transformation and Operations at Pearson Plc and Managing Director for Global Citizenship and Sustainability at BNY Mellon. Chopra began her career in media and communications, holding senior roles at Merrill Lynch and Deloitte.
Chopra serves on the Board of Directors for Schneider National (NYSE: SNDR), the North American Respect for People Advisory Board for Toyota, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management's Executive Council. She holds a BA in Journalism from New York University, an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School and completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School.
