Roberta recently retired from TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources Lead for Direct Channels (Phone, ATM, and Digital), Payments, and Consumer Business Management and Governance. Roberta joined the company in May 2010 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources Team Lead for the Metro Florida and Metro Mid South markets. She also served as the HR Lead for the Carolinas, TD Auto Finance US, and Regional Retail Banking from Maine to Florida.
Prior to TD Bank, Roberta served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for BankUnited from January 2003 to April 2010, where she was responsible for staffing, employee relations, compensation and payroll, benefits, training, and organizational development. She was Vice President of Human Resources at Kemper National Services from 2001 to 2002.
Before joining Kemper, Roberta worked at SunTrust for 21 years, where she held roles including Senior Vice President, Human Resources Relationship Manager from 2000 to 2001, and Senior Vice President, Human Resources Manager from 1998 to 2000.
Roberta has also been an adjunct professor at Barry University and Florida International University, where she taught Human Resources Certification and SHRM Essentials classes. She is a past president of the Greater Miami Society of Human Resources Management and has served on several boards and committees, including the Board of Governors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees for Florida Memorial University, and the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Ethics Advisory Committee (where she served as Chairperson). Additionally, she has contributed to the Finance and Continue United Committees of the United Way of Miami-Dade County.
Roberta earned her bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Florida and her master's degree in Counseling from Florida International University. In 2015, she achieved the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
