Deborah Shigley, SHRM-SCP, founded Shigley Solutions, LLC after 27 years of experience as a Human Resources generalist. Deb served as HR Director for the Research Division at Cornell University, where she was seen as a business partner. At Cornell, Deb managed the compensation, employee relations, training and development, and recruitment and staffing functions for the Research Division.
Deb received her Bachelor of Science in human resource management from Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Deb is certified through the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Certified Professional and through HRCI as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Deb currently serves as Director of the New York State Council of SHRM (NYS SHRM). Deb was awarded the HR Champion Award in 2012 for exceptional service to the Human Resources community and the SHRM-TC chapter.
