Manager, Knowledge Operations
Liz Petersen, SHRM-SCP, is the Knowledge Operations Manager at SHRM. With over 30 years of HR experience and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Liz brings extensive expertise to managing knowledge operations and training for the Ask an HR Advisor service.
Before joining SHRM, Liz served as an in-house and outsourced HR manager for small and medium-sized organizations across industries including technology, engineering, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, and construction. She has also presented at SHRM national, state, and chapter events, as well as webcasts and podcasts.
Liz resides in Oceanside, California, and enjoys spending time at the beach, swimming with her dog, golfing, and painting.
