SHRM Announces Zig Serafin Qualtrics CEO as Main Stage Speaker for SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition 2023 (SHRM23)
ALEXANDRIA, VA – Today, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) announced Zig Serafin, Chief Executive Officer of Qualtrics will join the SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition 2023 (SHRM23) as a Main Stage speaker for the Opening General session.
The largest HR conference in the world, SHRM23 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada and virtually June 11-14th, 2023. Zig will lead the Opening General session titled, “Looking back, leading forward: Building a destination workplace from managing people to managing opportunity and why experienced employers listen and act at scale.” The session will explore why tomorrow’s leaders must understand and commit to the essential values of their people.

Zig helped Qualtrics create and become the leader of the experience management (XM) category, changing the way organizations manage and improve customer and employee experiences. He has led the rapid growth of Qualtrics to over 18,750 customers, and he led the team that took Qualtrics public under the ticker symbol ‘XM’ with an IPO valuation of $15B. Previously, he was a leader in SAP’s 2019 acquisition of Qualtrics for $8B, at the time the largest private enterprise software acquisition ever. Zig sits on the board of Qualtrics and the board of Moody’s. Zig joined Qualtrics as Chief Operating Officer in 2016 and was previously Corporate Vice President at Microsoft and led its multi-billion-dollar enterprise collaboration services business that became Microsoft Teams.
Zig will join a line-up of over 200 speakers at SHRM23, which will be offered both virtually and in-person. Other Main Stage speakers include Mitch Albom and Johnny C.
