What does it take to unlock the real potential of a person? Sometimes it starts with something as simple as trust. In the session ‘You Can’t Automate This’, actor, director and screenplay mentor Boman Irani shared a personal story of how an opportunity given to him early in life helped him figure out his journey as a storyteller.
As a child, his mother once gave him the responsibility of narrating a film for a visually impaired family friend. A defining moment from what could have been a small task. It gave Boman the confidence to communicate, encouraged him to use his natural ability to tell stories, and helped him recognise a purpose that would eventually shape his career.
