According to the National Library of Medicine, health insurance costs have grown 3X faster than employee wages over the past 25 years. And a PWC survey found that this steep cost increase has caused 28% of consumers to delay or avoid care and a staggering 65% who don’t get treatment until it’s urgent.

    Tene Raymond is an experienced marketing professional with more than 20 years of expertise in B2C and B2B marketing strategy and execution. She has a keen focus on understanding consumers and leverages her knowledge to develop comprehensive omni-channel marketing initiatives. 

    Tene leads the Enrollment and Lifecycle Marketing team at HealthEquity, a health savings accounts (HSAs) and consumer-directed benefits administrator. Together with her team, Tene is responsible for spearheading HealthEquity’s consumer marketing initiatives around benefits enrollment, expansion, and retention. Tene is passionate about enhancing financial literacy and promoting long-term benefits utilization to empower affordable healthcare for all Americans.

    Prior to HealthEquity, Tene's held a pivotal marketing leadership role at Kinly, a startup digital financial technology company, and held multiple roles in the global commercial business at American Express.

    With nearly 20 years in healthcare innovation and technology, John Zacharia leads the Assist portfolio at HealthEquity, delivering data- and AI-driven solutions that improve healthcare’s efficacy and affordability.  

    John’s leadership experience spans notable roles in the health technology sector. At QuidelOrtho, he served as Head of Digital Innovation, introducing digital health solutions that redefined enterprise health and wellness. Before that, as Head of Digital Health at Baxter Healthcare, John spearheaded the creation of digital platforms and connected devices for hospital and home care.

    Through his work, John continues to drive forward-thinking strategies that improve the economics of healthcare while meeting the industry’s most pressing challenges.
