From Generative to Collaborative AI: Exploring HR Applications To Talent Acquisition, Retention, and Inclusion Practices
Mar 27, 2025 | 2:00–4:00 PM PT

Within the past several years, there has been a transformative shift from fear and displacement as brought about through the effects of generative AI toward understanding how to integrate it as synergistic to human collaboration and HR practice. This emphasis on harmonization, also known as Collaborative AI, is less known but is of increasing interest and demands deeper critical thinking and creative decision-making skills needed to use this technology by HR professionals. In this session, we will discuss this newer trajectory and specifically focus on how Collaborative AI may rapidly transform but also enhance the importance of HR practice as still a human-centric and not just as a technology-influenced practice via AI.
As part of this session, we will specifically showcase how Collaborative AI can be embedded with design thinking principles and sample tools that can address ongoing ethical and inclusion practices as related to talent acquisition and retention. We will also demonstrate how participants can engage and create their own understanding and applications with this technology through “live” demonstration and hands-on practice for participants taking them from reactive to innovative users with this technology.
