The Director of Computer Services Training and Curriculum Development will plan, develop, and implement vocational and training curriculum and programs for computer instruction in a college, university, or similar educational institution.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the computer services training and curriculum development department.
- Oversees the daily workflow and scheduling of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, designs, and updates computer services training and curriculum.
- Gathers and compiles instructional materials and resources.
- Develops and conducts demonstrative teaching.
- Reviews and evaluates computer software, applications, and hardware that will assist in meeting the educational and training goals and objectives of the educational institution.
- Collaborates with educational professionals to develop and implement vocational training and education.
- Organizes, arranges, and conducts in-service activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field required; Ph.D. preferred.
- At least three years of teaching at a college or university level preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
