SHRM is proud to relaunch the program for the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHRM) in the Middle East catering to the changing needs of the region. This comprehensive, 8 Modules-based and experiential HR Certificate program is derived from the same Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK™) and Competency Model used to develop the world-renowned SHRM-CP™ and SHRM-SCP™ professional HR certifications.  

The Advanced Certificate program is uniquely designed: no prerequisites are required, and the learner can enter the program at any time. Plus, the complete Certificate program involves a wide variety of learning experiences including: group discussions, individual and group activities, case studies, toolkit development and a post-test reinforcement of learning at the end of each course week.

This comprehensive HR certificate program is designed for a diverse range of professionals, including HR generalists and specialists aiming to enhance their practical skills and stay current with industry trends, as well as those in HR roles without formal academic qualifications. It is also ideal for individuals transitioning into HR management, those with outdated qualifications, and practitioners who value the competency-based, experiential learning format that SHRM is globally renowned for.

Assessment and Earning the Certificate

To earn the course completion certificate by SHRM, participants must achieve all the following requirements:

  • Achieve 70% passing grade on each module’s online assessment (10 multiple choice questions, AI proctored via SHRM LMS)
  • Complete the Capstone Experience (mandatory, non-graded)
  • Maintain a minimum attendance of 70%

ACHRM Program Overview

Program Overview Across 8 modules focusing on an HR functional competency and diving into relevant skills and capabilities as per the SHRM BASK©. The learning culminates with an application and synthesis experience through an interactive social learning case study and is supported by knowledge and application assessments. The program is practitioner-centric, highly experiential learning with global and local case studies, interactive sessions, and rich toolkits and resources for real-world application.

Ideal for HR professionals across all levels and functions, including HRBPs, Talent & OD specialists, and Generalists, the program’s 8x3 matrix (8 functional and behavioural HR competencies structured around foundational knowledge, core skills and applied capabilities) is delivered through 114-140 impactful hours of instructor-led learning through live, virtual and hybrid formats.
