Carlyne C. Ervin, MBA, SHRM-CP, PHR, is a Human Resources executive with over 20 years of experience, having dedicated the majority of her career to the nonprofit and foundation sector. A Los Angeles native, she has worked for several nonprofits and foundations throughout Southern California, where she has advanced people strategy, organizational development, and workforce engagement. She has also been a proud SHRM member for 15 years and is now part of SHRM’s Executive Network. In addition, Carlyne contributes op-eds to the Los Angeles Sentinel, sharing insights on leadership, workplace culture, and HR strategy.
Carlyne currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Chrysalis, a Southern California nonprofit and social enterprise that helps individuals overcome barriers to employment. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she partners with colleagues and the Board of Directors on HR initiatives, organizational strategy, and workforce planning.
Recognized as a change agent, Carlyne is passionate about shaping organizational culture and leading initiatives that foster inclusion, accountability, and high performance.
