Job Summary:
The Cleaner of Vehicles and Equipment will wash and clean vehicles, machinery, and other equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Uses water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and vacuums to clean the exterior and interior of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
- Applies polish, wax, or paint to vehicles to protect or restore color and condition.
- Inspects vehicles, equipment, or machine parts for damage and to ensure cleanliness.
- Ensures that cleaning machines and equipment operate properly; notifies supervisor of problems or when repairs are needed.
- Maintains an organized and neat work area.
- Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notifies Equipment Manager of items to be ordered.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to mix cleaning solutions according to instructions.
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines or equipment and perform minor repairs using hand tools.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
