Trump Appoints Key Leaders to Shape Workplace and Labor Policy
President Donald Trump has announced key appointments to advance labor and workplace policy. Keith Sonderling has been nominated to serve as deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor, focusing on workforce development. Former Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was confirmed by the Senate (99-0) to serve as secretary of State.
Marvin Kaplan has been appointed chair of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and Andrea Lucas will serve as acting chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
