Job Summary:

The International Finance Public Affairs Specialist will serve as a media contact and spokesperson for the organization, answering questions and providing knowledgeable information on matters related to international operations and finance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Acts as media contact and spokesperson for the organization on inquiries related to international finance and business operations.
• Drafts, reviews, and revises all official communication describing international financial matters, products, and services.
• Advises senior management on policies and documentation related to international finance.
• Ensures all media, marketing, and other publicly delivered information is accurate and up to date on current products, programs, or services available.
• May provide training and instruction to other staff on handling client questions and communication related to international finance operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of national and international media.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Public Affairs required. Masters degree preferred.
• Proven record in media relations required.
• At least five years of experience in public affairs required, international experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
