Job Summary:
The Structured Finance Specialist will analyze economic reports, particularly those related to the marketing of mortgage-backed securities to capital market professionals and investment bankers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Examines data and reports prepared by the investment research team (or other appropriate staff); analyzes the consolidated government and privately collected data and information therein.
- Based on data analysis, makes informed recommendations regarding appropriate structured financing for specific properties.
- Collaborates with account managers and new business officers to market asset-backed securities.
- Facilitates the successful execution of asset-backed offerings.
- Develops and maintains relationships in the financial community.
- Maintains knowledge of market conditions; identifies new product development opportunities based on changes and developments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of structured financing as it relates to various types of properties.
- Ability to understand and advise on complex financial proposals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; MBA preferred.
- At least five years of experience in financial analysis.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
